According to this new CNNMoney article, more and more people are considering working into their 80's because they can't afford to retire. 34% expect to retire on less than 50% of their income despite half of middle class reporting a 37% increase in monthly bills from just a year ago.

It seems as though most people believe the answer to their financial woes is to work longer. While most people will continue to struggle financially, some people have found a better way to prepare for retirement and get off the hamster wheel of going nowhere.
