Aloe Vera for your Immune System

Years ago I ran across a cassette tape (yeah some of you may not even know what that is) of Dr. Lee Ritter and his work with Aloe Vera and its internal uses to fight disease. I remember how he described it as an immune system builder. Dr. Ritter describes Aloe as the most important natural healing plant placed on the earth to help heal the sick and provide mankind with strength and good health.

At the time he also described a problem in the aloe industry with the quality of aloe vera products on the market. Claiming that of the 2000+/- aloe vera products on the market, only 5 had enough active ingredient to treat or support health challenges. The others were no better than drinking water. We had just begun working with our nutrition line which has an aloe called Ultimate Aloe and we could not help to be curious if Ultimate Aloe was one of the 5 that Dr Ritter was saying was a good product because he did not name them on the tape. So we called him. He confirmed we were good!

So we wanted to put it to a test. Our oldest son was a top inline speed skater and we had always struggled to keep him well for major events. He would train so hard that it tore his body and immune system down. It seemed as if right before or during every major event he would get sick. So we started giving him aloe vera everyday during his training one year before going to the national qualifiers at the Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs. For the first time ever, he did not get sick and won seven medals to make the US Junior World Team. We still were a little skeptical thinking it was a fluke. His next major event was just 2 months later at the Indoor National Championships. Again he did not get sick and dominated the championships winning Nationals. We were sold and he went on to win a total of 36 National Titles and 2 Golds , 6 Silver and 5 Bronze Medals at World Championships. Hard to believe he is 31 now and he and his wife are closing on their first home this week!

We have 3 other children and we always kept aloe on hand. Anytime one them would get the sniffles we would hand them a bottle of aloe with their name on it and have them drink it over the course of a day. Usually knocked the problem right out.
